Polymer Overlay
A polymer overlay is engineered polymer modified cement. Unlike standard concrete, polymer overlays do not have large aggregate and can be applied over an existing surface at a thickness of 1/8 to ¼ of an inch. Even though polymer overlays can be applied in very thin coats they are very resistant to cracking and delamination.
Old concrete can pit and discolor over time, leaving you with a surface that can take away from the overall appearance of your home. Removing an existing concrete slab can be very expensive, time consuming, and can damage lawns, shrubs, and existing landscaping. Polymer overlays allow you to re-surface your existing concrete without the cost and worries associated with removing the existing slab. Polymer overlays are perfect for repairing discolored, spalled, concrete surfaces. Polymer overlays can be colored, stained, stamped, and even hand scribed in an array of colors and patterns. Polymer overlays cure quickly and can usually support foot traffic within a few hours depending on the system. Polymer overlays are perfect for indoor and outdoor applications.
